Advanced Manufacturing Technology, Made in the USA
Further extending our commitment to US manufacturing, AMADA opened a 190,000 sq. ft. manufacturing plant and 62,000 sq. ft. technical center in High Point, NC. The Carolina Manufacturing Center opened on December, 6, 2019 and is AMADA’s second major manufacturing facility in the U.S. — complementing our Manufacturing Center in Brea, CA. Combined, these state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities will extend our reach of customer-centered sites and enable AMADA to better serve and support our North American customers
Streamlining Customer Production
The industry’s quick acceptance of AMADA fiber laser systems for enhanced throughput has also increased the need to remove downstream bottlenecks in materials handling and bending. To fulfill that need, the first products to be manufactured at the Carolina Center are a new line of press brakes and blanking automation systems.
In an ongoing partnership with our customers, AMADA remains steadfast in our commitment to develop new technologies that ensure maximum productivity and profitability.
Lights-out capability build capacity critical for future expansion and adaptation based on industry needs.
Welding cells are set up with local fume extraction and one massive 12,000-pound-capacity positioner that allows welding an entire press brake side plate within a few hours.
Prepaint blast and cleaning booths have reclamation systems that significantly reduce waste; about 95% of cleaning solution is filtered and used again.
Plant is designed to be able to absorb Brea demand and tool up for laser machine production.
