The following procedure applies to all Amada Laser Machines equipped with the Fanuc C1000, C1500, C2000, C1500B, C2000A, C2000B or C3000B lasers.
PROBLEMS DUE TO GAS CONTAMINATION OR BAD MIXTURE OF GAS.
Gas contamination problems can cause output power to drop significantly; a good indication will probably be slow distinguishing of the base discharge, one after another, followed by an increase in voltages by a few hundreds on the diagnostic display.
When gas contamination is suspected in the laser machine due to using bad gas, and purging several times does not seem to work; the following procedure may help evacuate contaminated gas and increase output power after replacement of good gas:
